This is one of the hottest isekai fantasy anime of recent years, adapted from a light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka. Get ready to be transported to an alternate world alongside Subaru Natsuki, a Japanese NEET who unexpectedly gains incredible abilities.

Unlike other isekai anime, Subaru’s unique power allows him to resurrect every time he dies, starting from scratch. Along the way, he encounters Emilia, a half-elvish woman whose fate is intertwined with his. Re: Zero Season 3 Release Date

The highly-anticipated second season of ‘Re: Zero’ premiered in July 2020 and concluded in March 2021 with 25 episodes. Although the producers have not made any official statements about a third season yet, during an interview with Crunchyroll in June 2020, producer Sho Tanaka mentioned, “I’m confident that you’ll all be clamoring for a third season once you’ve finished watching this one (season 2).” While this is not a confirmation, it shows that the producers are considering continuing the series.

The renewal of any anime series depends on its performance, and ‘Re: Zero’ season 2 part 2 has been a definite success. With consistently high ratings and viewership, it is highly unlikely that White Fox Studios, the production company known for their isekai shows, will end ‘Re: Zero’ after only two seasons. However, it may take some time before season 3 becomes a reality. Re: Zero Season 3 Plot: What Can It Be About?

In the season 2 finale, Subaru, Emilia, and Beatrice triumph over the Great Rabbit horde. Beatrice discovers that the current Roswaal has been possessed by the person she knew 400 years ago. Roswaal reconciles with Subaru and his allies, pledging support for Emilia’s claim to the throne. Subaru also takes the opportunity to clarify certain misunderstandings about how babies are made to Emilia, and he is eventually knighted by her. He expresses his loyalty to Emilia and vows to serve as her knight and no one else’s.

In season 3, it is likely that the adaptation will cover volumes 16 onwards of the light novels. Emilia may receive an invitation from Anastasia, one of the other royal candidates, to Priestella, also known as the Water Gate City. Subaru and his companions will find themselves navigating through the treacherous waters of politics to protect Emilia. However, they may soon uncover the true intent behind the invitation.
