A Fierce Battle

As the match begins, Todoroki launches a massive ice attack to bury Bakugo, but the fiery hero manages to escape and land the first blow. However, Bakugo becomes increasingly frustrated as Todoroki refuses to use his fire powers, holding back just as he did in his fight against Izuku. This unleashes Bakugo’s anger, leading him to throw caution to the wind and turn himself into a human missile, ultimately overpowering Todoroki.

Victorious, but Unsatisfied

Although Bakugo emerges as the winner, it is not a satisfying victory for him. Todoroki’s reluctance to go all-out against Bakugo only fuels his anger, to the point where he has to be restrained like a feral animal during the award ceremony. Todoroki takes second place, while Tokoyami and Iida share third place. However, Iida has to leave to visit his injured brother, who was defeated by Stain.

Emotional Moments

All Might presents the medals to the winners and offers them valuable advice on honing their heroic abilities. The students are then granted a two-day break from school. Iida visits his hospitalized brother, feeling responsible for his defeat. Todoroki visits his mother, who is confined to a mental hospital, vowing to rescue her as the first step in his path to becoming a hero. Meanwhile, Uraraka’s parents celebrate her accomplishments, Izuku has a heartwarming lunch with his mom, and Bakugo remains consumed by his frustration.

The Tournament Arc Concludes

With the halfway point of the season reached, the tournament arc comes to an end, leaving a somber note for Iida with his brother’s tragic injury. Bakugo’s desire to win drives him forward, but he still feels the sting of his rivalry with Izuku. Todoroki, on the other hand, finds himself in a state of confusion but seeks to confront his past and resolve the issues surrounding his family. As for Izuku, he is reminded to focus on mastering his power and not worry his mother any further.

This episode sets the stage for the next arc, promising more thrilling adventures and intense battles for the young heroes of U.A. High School.
