My Hero Academia Episode 15: A Thrilling Setup for an Epic Showdown

my hero academia episode 15

Still infatuated with the captivating intro and outro! Welcome back, my fellow Fecomic enthusiasts, to episode 15 of season 2 of My Hero Academia. Although I was a tad disappointed that the dubs aren’t releasing simultaneously with the subs for a while, it doesn’t bother me too much. The English dubs in this show are exceptionally well-done, and I find myself thoroughly enjoying them.

Now, our beloved protagonist Izuku has mastered the skill of channeling One for All throughout his entire body simultaneously. To test his progress, he faces Gran Torino in combat. Izuku is given a mere three minutes to land a hit on the seasoned hero. Initially, it becomes evident that Midoriya lacks the agility and speed needed to react swiftly and charge One For All throughout his body. However, employing his quick analytical thinking, he manages to outsmart Gran Torino by feigning his movements and slowing down the veteran’s Jet ability. It’s truly incredible how much Izuku has learned from Gran Torino in just a day’s time.

Meanwhile, back at UA, Detective Tsukauchi meets with All Might to discuss a peculiar phenomenon. The police force has successfully apprehended Nomu, but extracting information about the League of Villains from him proves to be a challenge. Utilizing DNA testing, the police discover that Nomu carries the DNA of four different individuals mixed with his own. This suggests that someone has merged multiple quirks into a single person—one that mirrors All Might’s ability to pass on his quirk. As All Might ponders over these findings, he utters, “Has that man… started to move again…?” It seems All Might is aware of someone who may be orchestrating these events.

Gran Torino deems Midoriya ready for the next phase: battling villains. The duo ventures into the city to confront the looming danger. Meanwhile, Iida, driven by his determination to find the hero killer Stain and put an end to his villainous spree, is reminded by hero Manual not to succumb to his thirst for revenge. Heroes should never exploit their quirks for personal vendettas but rather utilize them for the greater good of society.

While aboard the train to Hosu City, Midoriya and Gran Torino’s journey is abruptly interrupted by a horde of peculiar Nomus set loose by Shigaraki. These Nomus bear striking differences from the original, and their appearance sets the stage for an imminent confrontation in the upcoming episode. On another front, Iida embarks on a mission to rescue a pro hero from the clutches of Stain, the hero killer. Initially dismissing Iida, Stain’s interest is piqued when Iida boldly introduces himself as Ingenium, vowing to be the hero who will thwart him. The episode concludes with a chilling black screen and Stain muttering a single word, “Die.”

This episode primarily serves as a setup for the thrilling events that lie ahead. It provides crucial context and clarity while leaving us brimming with anticipation for episode 16. The excitement is palpable, and I can only imagine the incredible twists and turns that await us.

Until next time, my dear friends! Stay tuned for more heart-pounding adventures on Fecomic!
