But What About the Plot?

How did you forget? Ugh, fine. But remember, this is top-secret information, so keep it to yourself. The Tokyo Manji Gang is involved in some serious criminal activities, and you don’t want to go blabbering about their exploits to just anyone. That person you’re talking to might be a Tokyo Manji Gang member themselves, and then you’ll truly wish you had kept your mouth shut.

So, here’s a quick recap. The first season adapted the Moebius arc and the Valhalla arc. It follows the story of Takemichi, a 26-year-old with no direction in life, who discovers the ability to travel 12 years back in time and possess his younger self’s body. His mission is to save his friend Hinata from dying in a traffic accident caused by the Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi and his friends were once members of the Toman gang, which eventually became the Tokyo Manji Gang. The first season ended on a cliffhanger after Takemichi’s promotion in the gang.

The second season will delve into the “Black Dragons” arc. The Black Dragons are a notorious gang that has existed for generations. After merging with the Toman gang, the Tokyo Manji Gang came into existence. Unfortunately, not all of Takemichi’s friends survived this merger, and now he must go back in time once again to try and prevent the merger from happening and save the people he couldn’t save before.
